EUROPEAN SCHOOL FOR APPLIED SCIENCE IN UGANDA is a place of learning, working and standing together for feeling at home in the ESAS-family, while building a democratic community in an eco-friendly and sustainable environment. The following principles are guiding us on our way teaching the students, which are helping us to build a global world, where fair people with a sustainable perspective complied with the nature of our mother earth are taking responsibility in freedom.
Members of the ESAS-family receive the freedom of taking responsibility for their home country and the life of their fellow citizens.
Learning by doing and not by listening.
Learning in a ESAS-university means to experience the theory with real working, in discussion of opportunities with the lecturer, in practical projects. Mistakes are steps of understanding.
Creative, effective learning means to make mistakes, if procurable just once. This leads to new developments and to understanding of the unknown.
Development to personality
The principle of equality is valid for all the members of ESAS-Universities regardless of their gender, skin color, private wealth, faith or their belonging to any minority group.
Teaching and learning in an ESAS-University do not only build the students‘ personalities but also the lecturers‘ and all the members‘ of ESAS-family ones, who will prospectively develop sustainable technologies complied with nature.
